The water in my quarantine tank is currently stained yellowish green due to antibiotic use. If I try to measure its copper level with a Hanna colorimeter, would I still get accurate results considering the abnormal hue?

Thanks for your help.

It should be fine unless the sample you take is truly turbid or otherwise visibly unclear.

If either is the case then you should either use fine filter paper or do a large water change before measuring copper.

For really bad looking cases you should consider water changes.
