Copper in tank

I just treated my main tank 35 gallon with copper to kill ich. How do I get copper out of my rocks which were dead rocks to begin with and out of my sand? According to the treatment I have to leave it for a month.

Most people treat in a qt and let the display fallow. That said I have removed copper from rock using cuprisorb. It's been years and I can't remember how much I used or how long it took. I just kept testing and changing the media until it was cleared.
For the nay sayers that will tell you all the rock is ruined and you need to just throw it away all of the rock is this tank was treated with copper and removed with cuprisorb prior to adding it to this DT
