i bought a copperband butterfly 2 days ago before i bought him i made sure he was eating and he was eating frozen mysis. He seems to be fine hes swimming around and picking at my live rock eating all of my fan worms but he wont eat any mysis or brine i also tried feeding him a clam on the half shell and he went right up to it and just looked at it then swam away should i be worried about him or should i just give him some more time to adjust to my tank. I also read somewhere that if he was netted he will die is this true?

I wonder if he is getting more than you think from your tank ATM? Does he look good and fat? I would just keep an eye on it for a day or 2 and see how he does? I am not sure about netting them.

he most likey WONT eat any frozen until the tubeworms are gone.CBB's love any kind of tubeworms that grow on liverock.he will instictively go after them over thefrozen.keep feeding like normal and eventually he should start eating the mysis and other prepared foods once the tubeworm/pod population is lower.its kind of like putting two bowls of food in front of a dog.one bowl contains dry food the other contains a steak.which do you think the dog will eat first?

Give him time to get use to his new surrounding I have 3 of them and as long as there not being beat up by the other tank mates he should pull through
