well I bought a Klein's about 2 week's ago and he didn't last 48 hours!!! made me mad(turns out I wasn't the only one to have a fish from that LFS that didn't make it long recently:mad:) well, I went to a different LFS 2 days ago and they had this great looking Copperband there. they had him for 3 weeks and said he was eating frozen food very well.....I couldn't resist!! so it's been 2 days and he is doing very good so far!

Excellent, just be care about the fish you place with a CBB. Real aggressive eaters, sometimes out work them for food and wears on them over time. So far, so great!

If there's competition for food with the other fish try using one of these:

I put zip ties around the sides, so the food stays put better. My CBB loves eating out of it.

Nice... I just picked one up myself the other day to wipe out my feather dusters... If he gets the 2 aptasia that's just a bonus..;)
so far it has Been 3 days and he hasn't really ate and prepared foods yet but is knocking out the feather dusters at a really fast pace... So far so good..;)

If your CB is being finicky when it comes to eating, try live brine shrimp to get them eating

I had the stuff laying around so I gave this a try for the heck of it:wink:

I don't think there's much competition for food though. He's in the tank with a foxface and a volitan lionfish. The stuff the CB eats is too small for the lionfish and the foxface doesn't eat that stuff...

If you can get live black worms they love them, you can put them in a piece of thin rigid tubing and the copperband can pick them out with no compition.
