Copperband info

just picked one up to put with my two blue tangs, yellow tang, vlahmingi tang, flame angel & green chromis.

He was kept at the store for a week to make sure he was eating.
He seems very healthy & happy so far, other than a bit of push & shove with my yellow tang.

He's eating bloodworms, but I'd like to know which other foods they usually really go for?

Are there any Copperband eggsperts out there who can help me?

Clams on the half shell and piscine mysis were always popular with copperbands I've kept.

I could never get mine to eat clams but it absolutely loves LRS food. Oddly enough it has started eating nori lately to. It also likes pe mysis.

Blackworms! Mine goes crazy for Blackworms. He does this head shake and swims back and forth when I'm approaching the tank to feed. Besides the Blackworms I feed him BS, Mysis, clams, and LRS. I don't feed my fish any processed foods.

Mine will literally eat anything that comes from my hand. I can even trick him into eating the nori in my LRS if I hold it between my fingers. He seems to like both Piscine and the smaller Hikari mysis.

He also is a bit greedy. He will grab a large chunk of LRS that he can't possibly swallow (their ability to swallow large foods is less than much smaller wrasses). It's comical as my Ear Muff wrasse stalks him at feeding time and literally takes the big pieces out of his mouth. It almost looks like a momma bird feeding her little one.

Curtis, my Copperband, is doing very well, despite a bit of initial harassment from Gold Member (my Yellow Tang).

Besides eating bloodworm he also loves mysis & is scavenging around the crevices.

Very pleasing to see this fish fit into the community & have a hearty appitite.

Thats insane!:( It costs around £12 for 42g in the U.K. which would equal around 20 AUD.
