Is there a app that still works for these lights? I bought one used and for the life of me can't get it to work with the app called "moon v3" using android.

There is a chance the app doesn't work with your phone version of Android.
i phones ect seem fine.

I ended up getting it to work, what a headache lol. I got it used for a decent price is the only reason I bought it.

Cool, yea I just recently fought with a "smart" bulb.

Seems like a decent light though, yours that is.

Ok - I’m in the same boat! I broke down and sold my big tank set up a few years ago and kept one of these and now can’t find an app to run it!! What app were you able to use with it?? Thanks!!

HOW?!
Please detailed instructions.
Whilst the Moon V3 app can find my light via wifi and connect to the light no problem.
It doesn't appear as a device and find device or manually putting the IP does not work!
Meanwhile my old phone with the old app is connected to it and has the device there to click on.
Though I remember it took me a week+ before I got it to work the first time!
Transferring the old app does not work as it will not install on a new version of android even though the phones are identical.
Problem is my old phone is dying so managing my lights has once again become a nightmare!

Update! I have (with much difficulty) transferred the old app from my old phone to my new phone!
If you are looking at buying the coral box Moon Led light,
make sure it is the most recent model!
I am assuming that the moon v3 app only works with this newer model.
If you happen to get an old model beware! the old app is no longer available in the Playstore!
Acquiring the old app might be impossible unless you already have it or know someone who does.
