Hi all,

I've setup this tank for around a month now, and I think it's time to add some coral as parameters are good (0ppm NH3, 0ppm NO2-)

However, I'm a bit lost on where to start haha. I'm thinking maybe some softies first? I'm trying to do a mixed tank with a BTA eventually.
Any advice on which corals to get, and where specifically to put them on my hardscape in the image below would be super appreciated!

For reference:
The tank is a Redsea Max Nano G2 Cube which is around 20 gallons
I am using the stock return pump as flow which has around a 10x/h turnover rate. I can add a wavemaker if needed.
The light is the ReefLED60 which I think can grow most things including sps and anemones.
Currently I've got a pair of clowns and a cleaner shrimp in there. Eventually, I'm hoping to add a few more interesting fish and inverts as I find the interaction between species the most interesting part of the hobby. Any livestock recommendations would also be helpful!

Thanks Everybody,
Jacob

Looks fabulous already!! I really love your aquascape!

I'm in a similar spot - I have a 3 month old 15 gallon cube. I am very pro movement, which leads me to always get some sort of euphyllia or soft coral first. I added a small leather, a singular head torch coral, and a small gonipora frag. Last week, I added a bubble tip anemone. I also have two clowns plus a yasha goby and pistol shrimp pair which I finally got to eat.

I think the relationship between the goby and shrimp is so fascinating so maybe look into that. Also, the best time to add a goby/shrimp pair is before you have introduced other creatures that will inhabit the rocks and sandbed.

If I were you -- I would get one or two turbo snails and a few bumble bee snails. I also would suggest a kenya tree if you want to start easy!
