I will be moving over a couple of torches and an acan to a new tank soon. But in the old tank I have an outbreak of bubble algae, and I’ve noticed some hair algae on the base of the acan.
Obviously I don’t want to transfer any of that to the new tank soon is there a dip that will take care of these alga? Is H2O2 the solution?

Works great on zoas and sticks IME, would not dip Acans for too long (maybe 60-90 sec) 50/50 of 3% and tank water. I remove as much algae as possible prior to dip. Rinse immediately.

I had some bubble algae on the base of some new Monti setosa and Psammocora frags. After removing it, I held the frags and used a syringe with straight 3% H2O2 to saturate the surface where the algae was. The coral tissue that came in contact with the H2O2 looked a little pale for a few days, but quickly healed up, and I haven't seen any bubble algae since.
