So I finally popped a light on and saw this guy on the TBS rock. Anyone know what coral? When I figure out the light I can put white on it.
I see the calcified structure so ruled out Aiptasia

My first thought would be a pest anemone, but if you see a calcified structure that makes me question it. If there is a calcified structure my next guess would maybe be some type of larger polyped LPS or maybe even NPS (like a fat head Dendro, rhizotrochus, balanophyllia, truncatoflabellum veroni, etc - not to get hopes up lol)

I hope it’s not a dendro. That’s a lot of care for those. They look cool though. Till I read up on the light settings for this, I tried a flash light so you can see the calcified base(s).

Looks like it might be a Ball Anemone

This is a ball anemone. Unlike aptasia and Majano, I had one 2 years ago and it remained, had nice color and only one more ever emerged. They remain small and here is a puzzling fact as others stated they are a good anemone. Anemone ???
Ball Anemones are actually not anemones at all, it is actually a mushroom coral that is commonly confused too many as a Majano Aiptasia. Unlike an Aiptasia, they are reef safe, they commonly stay closed during the day and open up at night. The tips if its anemone-like tentacles end with a ball tip giving it its' name

Geez, Tony. You're replying to someone else's photo, not the OP's... smh
We know the photo you're referring to is a ball anemone - says so right in the description!
