This definitely has a calcified base though. And there are a couple smaller ones around it.Looks like it might be a Ball Anemone
i second this , however pictures under white light can confirm the IDI'd say some sort of dendrophyllia. They are a NPS coral so if you want to keep it you should feed it
Look something like this?I hope it’s not a dendro. That’s a lot of care for those. They look cool though. Till I read up on the light settings for this, I tried a flash light so you can see the calcified base(s).
The fact it’s clear makes me think hidden cup coralI hope it’s not a dendro. That’s a lot of care for those. They look cool though. Till I read up on the light settings for this, I tried a flash light so you can see the calcified base(s).

I second that! Still would be a NPS coral so would have the same requirements as dendrophylliaMore likely thisHidden Cup Coral - Phyllangia americana | Melev's Reef

I think they like shaded areas so probably sump is good. Hopefully it does well in the DT.Looks similar to the one I have on TBS rock in my sump. It's been down there since last February and I don't do anything special to keep it alive.
This is a ball anemone. Unlike aptasia and Majano, I had one 2 years ago and it remained, had nice color and only one more ever emerged. They remain small and here is a puzzling fact as others stated they are a good anemone. Anemone ???Looks like it might be a Ball Anemone

Ball Anemones are actually not anemones at all, it is actually a mushroom coral that is commonly confused too many as a Majano Aiptasia. Unlike an Aiptasia, they are reef safe, they commonly stay closed during the day and open up at night. The tips if its anemone-like tentacles end with a ball tip giving it its' name
I was liking for the info on Ball Nems.Geez, Tony. You're replying to someone else's photo, not the OP's... smh
We know the photo you're referring to is a ball anemone - says so right in the description!
