I have had this coral for about a year now. Just kinda want to confirm if its a Lithophyllon. The reason I am asking for this is that I have a dead Plate coral, just the skeleton and I am thinking of transplanting a frag of these on to that skeleton just to see how it would grow.

It looks like a colonial cycloseris. There are 3 species of colonial cycloseris: c. explanulata, c. mokai, and c. wellsi. I think yours is a cycloseris explanulata.

Thanks, it really does look a lot closer to Cycloseris Explanulata than a Lithophyllon although I must say the name Cycloseris hasnt really caught on in reefing hobby.
