Thank you. Is it ok to scrape that stony part of this coral and some Euphyllias?Looks like an alveopora
I will check their website for Favites and Alveopora. This is a good start. Thanks.I was thinking favites.
You can lightly scrape their skeletons with a soft toothbrush.Thank you. Is it ok to scrape that stony part of this coral and some Euphyllias?
Great, hope it turns out amazing!I had emailed Aqua SD and they responded. It is Orange Leptastrea. Thanks everyone. Looks like a new coral to reefing but it is hardy according to some who have had it.
Leptastrea has been around much, much, much longer than reefkeeping itself lol.I had emailed Aqua SD and they responded. It is Orange Leptastrea. Thanks everyone. Looks like a new coral to reefing but it is hardy according to some who have had it.
That makes sense. If it was rare, it wouldn't be a freebie. Some articles I read mentioned that it is not commonly used in reef keeping.Leptastrea has been around much, much, much longer than reefkeeping itself lol.
Not new in the trade by any means.
If you simply google leptastrea theres about 4 sites on the first page that sell it.That makes sense. If it was rare, it wouldn't be a freebie. Some articles I read mentioned that it is not commonly used in reef keeping.
