I know I'm oversimplifying a bit, but have any of you come across a chart that shows coral species' preferred lighting conditions; predominantly, for SPS? Hi par, medium par, etc. etc.

All can take high PAR, but not all need it. Quality matters when you are applying quantity, so light type makes a difference. For example, 300-350 PAR from a LED might be about all that you want to go without burning tips and stuff, but 750 PAR from T5 or MH will not harm anything. In general, 200 down low and 350-400 up top is a good place to start, but it can be complicated...
