If you place a coral on sand(assuming that it can grow on sand) is it able to grow itself to a rock? Im thinking about a neon green hairy mushroom. I also don't want it to completly cover then
sand beacuse the nass snails need some room too.
Im thinking a soft tank:Ricordea, clove polyps and zoa. Recently been thinking about these guys too. Maybe later some hard corals.

how big is the tank? you can put it in the sand, but why not put it on a rock? it will grow in the sand, and if the base gets on the rock, yes it should grow on there. also when you put it on the sand there is a chance that it will blow around the tank.
