My bit of progress of candy cane on the skull.

In the past I used to have a gsp on it (not sure the name of that coral). But when transferred from the old tank, it dies in the new tank.

I don't know why I'm generally not a fan of things like this, but this is an exception to that. Pretty nifty!

Pretty cool! What material is the skull made of?
I am not sure. I guess the guy crush the carbonate stones (the one that we make the layout) and stick together with white cement (the thing that people make frag).

Unfortunately I have to sell this skull to a guy today. 😅 The sps in the tank now grow and create more shadow. I have no room at the bottom to put this skull. I know the cyphastrea will die super fast if there is lack of light. I faced this experience one time before, when it cover 70% of this skull.

I'm with you. In general I am against decorations and artificial things in a reef, but those skulls always seem a little cool to me.

Do you make the skulls? If not where do you buy them from?
I bought them here in my country, Vietnam.
There are plastic ones (the one with Candy cane and Cysphatrea) and also hand crafted from calci carbonate ones (the one with Chalice).
I think you can buy the plastic skull elsewhere. It is made in China. Just try to pick the skull without paint. Anyway please use it at your own risk. I have those skulls in tank for 4 years (calculate my old tank as well) without detected anything abnormal from ICP tests. However I would disclaim any bad things happened to other tanks. 😅 The hobby is tough.
