My Tank Thread
So I was given a 4' current led strip light. I have it on my display as kind of a unnecessary extra to help eliminate shadows but I don't even have coral in my tank right now lol. I was thinking about setting up 2 QT tanks today. I already have 1 20g tall and was thinking I'd go pick up a second and start 2 tanks, one for inverts and a chunk or 2 of live rock, and another for corals and maybe a few inverts to help with water chemistry?(my first go at corals so I'm not a 100% sure but heard corals like some sort of animal/food waste and coral only was harder) I have spare chunks of bare seeded rock that have been in my sump a few months to cycle the coral tank and will throw some new live rock in my inverts tank as I started with dry rock and want some bio diversity. I figured I would stick both tanks side by side, build a rack for the corals to get them up closer to the light, and set the light on top of both tanks. I know my buddy grew Kenya trees and GSP with this light but wasn't sure if anyone had any experience with this light? Or if it makes more sense to go buy a different light altogether?
