My unit makes what seems to be a lot of water a day, what can I do to fix or determine if it isn't doing it's job. It seems to make 30 gallons of water in between an hour - 2 hrs. The trouble shooting guide said "High Water Production - Membrane not properly seated" But it is pushed all the way down the tube. Any advice?

That seems much to fast at 50 gallons per day it's like 5 gallons roughly per 2.5 hours, personally it doesn't sound like it's working like it should. You can always get a tds meter to see if you're coming up with a higher TDS(total dissolved solids) if you are, it's not working properly.

My 50 gpd system was much to slow for me because I needed at least 30g to do a water change for just one of my systems, and with me only being home at night it made it tough. So I switched to the 100gpd.

Thanks! It appears I was worried about breaking the unit when I pushed in the membrane and it did go in a little bit further. I reattached it and tightened up the middle section and it seems to be trickling now.... Much slower rate. Thanks a lot for your reply. I need to obtain a TDS meter, that is next on my list.

With it going slower I did notice one thing, the last chamber is not completely filled with water, is that normal? Could it be because I have lower water pressure than recommended?

The final chamber is the DI, generally it will not be completely filled with water like the first two.
