Hey guys, after some research in r2r I concluded that the fluorescent specks on my rock is a dying coralline algae. It sometimes appear once or twice every week. But at the same time the coralline is also growing in my wave maker and pump head and some other parts of the rock. Is it a normal thing that they are dying? Could it be something related with my water paramters?

Alk stable around 7.7-8.2 (checked today was 8.0 dkh)

Ca 410-440 (checked today was 410)

Mag 1470 (checked 3rd feb)

I dose alk with seachem carbonate everyday and all in one reef everyday. Tank is 26 gallons

For more info, alk is always dropping 0.2-0.3 dkh/day.
