I would say flow is not the best in this area, but its being like that for years. If the frogspawn had BJD it would be affected. Was there a change in flow? Seems like this may be a flow issue.
Salinity?![]()
Phosphate is around .25
Nitrate about 5
Oh, I’m really sorry to hear that. I can imagine how discouraging it must feel. Here in Korea, a fellow reefer I know went through something similar, their corals were peeling and the whole system looked like it was crashing. They started dosing a product called The1 to balance trace elements, alkalinity, and pH, and over time the tank slowly recovered. I don’t know where you’re located, but seeing what’s happening with your corals honestly makes me wish I could send you a bottle myself. I really hope things turn around for you soon. If you ever seriously want to try it, just let me know, I can find a way to send it to you. That product, The1, really felt like it handled everything at once. It helped keep alkalinity, calcium, magnesium, and all the key parameters stable. I dosed it one capful at a time. For now, I’d suggest fragging off the damaged parts and focusing on stabilizing the system. Test all your parameters, alkalinity, pH, calcium, magnesium and try to make adjustments slowly. Don’t forget calcium and magnesium are just as important! Ah, I just saw the picture of your water parameters. Nothing looks particularly wrong, but I wonder if there might have been some swings, maybe in temperature, salinity, or something like that. And you should also check your testing equipment. Try measuring with another device and see if the results match. It might also be due to other trace elements, so it’s worth checking those too. I know it must be tough, hang in there!
