Over the last several months I've had kind of a nightmare going on with my Reef Octopus skimmer pump. The pump is a bubble blaster 5000. After contacting customer service they sent me a new impeller. That didn't fix the issue. They then asked me to send in the entire pump so the could take a closer look at it. They wanted all the documents like receipts etc. I have so much stuff going on with my system it took me a while to even remember where I bought it.. Let alone where the receipt would be ;) long story short the place I bought it isn't even in business anymore but it never was an issue as I just received an email saying a new pump has been sent out under warranty.

This is why I buy products from Maxspect, Reeflo, Reef Octopus etc. for A+ customer service! Thank you Coralvue!

I was just about to jump to their defense. And then it ended the same as the experiences I've had with them. No questions asked (cept for a serial no) and was sent a new pump right away.

with the internet and product reviews these companies are held to a pretty high standard. i think the people in our hobby are generally good natured and we make good customers. its nice to hear a company continually doing right

The new pump was missing the fitting to hook it up to my skimmer.. And I can't try and reuse the old one as it was attached to the pump I sent in for service. But again they instantly replied and sent out one. My system has been without a skimmer for quite a bit of time.. Unfortunately I'm at the mercy of the shipping company and it can't be instantaneous. But am still extremely pleased with the level of support they have given me.

A few years ago I bought a Reef Keeper for $350.00 and a module stopped working after 3 months. I contacted Digital Aqiatics and they said it wasn't covered under warranty because it was exposed near (not directly) in a moist environment.. (Hello?? You have Aquatics in your name!) but they would be happy to replace the failed component for a discounted $75.00. A greedy company tried to squeeze an extra $75 out of a customer after thier product went bad 3 months out of the box. And they probably sit at there desks and wonder why Neptune has destroyed them since.. (Meanwhile I'm stuck with a useless expensive controller, but they permanently lost a customer and I'll let everyone know about it!)

Anyway.. Thanks once again Coralvue! especially @Carlos@CoralVue who was spicifically helpful to me! You guys should come out with a line of controllers now! ;)
