Hey everyone, need help identifying this crab, was sold to me as a emerald crab, I have some doubts. Emeralds crabs are pretty hard to find in Australia, soo thought I would take the chance and buy it, just seeing if anyone can confirm if its a emerald crab, or a pest crab.
Thank you in advance

This a completely non expert opinion, but from someone that has a lot of emerald crabs, the end of the claws on all of mine look more like suction cup’s/scrapers. Those look very pointed, so I can say that they don’t look like any of mine. I hope you better a more scientific answer from others on here.

I'm late here, but any more recent pics of this crab? (Some crabs change pretty drastically as they age and become more easily identifiable). I agree that I don't think this is an emerald crab, but I don't recognize this one offhand.
