Found this crab molt. Any ideas if friend or foe?
(about an 1” large, bright red carapace, fuzzy legs) EE6356BB-10FF-40BF-BEF4-46A5D967B84E.jpeg thank you.

Can catch and kill fish, and few other invertebrates in the tank. (If it's the one I'm talking about)
If you can post photos under white light will be better for the ID

Looking at claws I'd be concerned

powerfull.
If you want to keep it, toss it in the sump if there is nothing valuable. It will kill most if no all of the starfish.

Maybe, just googled gorilla crab...the top is very bright red, but claws not like strawberry crab.
I’ll look for molt now with white lights on.
Drop some photos under the white Please.

Looks similar to some Acro crabs I had in one of my tanks, orange, fuzzy, with black spots and claws, small black spots on its shell. It wasn’t a gorilla crab, never harmed the coral and only grow to about an inch.

Hopefully it’s an acro crab!
Looking at tons of crab photos is creeping me out, hahaha.

Maybe this.

no, really can't get how big is from the photo, almost nothing to compare it with. If that under it is napkin/paper tissue/kitchen roll, probably it's 3-5mm diameter?

and like I see searching for it, if it's acro crab and it's that hayri, isn't good one (all similar are reported as bad)
