Very nice job on the organization. So here's the big update. I'm super excited and loving it so far.
As most of you know, I've never been a big controller type of person. I used manual switches for everything and a JBJ temp controller. Then I lightly dipped my toes (except the missing one ) into the controller world by purchasing a used ReefKeeper Lite. And I liked it. The ability to have everything on a timer outlet without having a million bulky timers on a generic powerstrip saved lots of room. And the built in temperature control removed an external temperature controller. So I pinched my pennies, and begged the wife and she gave me the green light to purchase a brand new APEX!
Being that I was going to have to tear apart all my wiring for the changeover, I decided to tidy it up and make it look awesome! Heres the build
The apexEL unit and an extra EB832
I needed 11 outlets total
This is the cabinet that it's all going to be housed in.
And this is going to be my "power board"
EB832's mounted, and the holes for the cords with grommets all done
APEX Head Unit mounted, I drilled a hole for the wires with a grommet but didnt get a picture of it
Panel mounted in the cabinet, and I pre drilled the hole and grommeted for the two Vortech pumps
Took FOREVER but here's the finished result. I'm super happy with it and I really hope you guys like it
