Hi Everyone, so I've had a 32 Gallon Biocube up for over a year now. Doing quite well! I just recently added a little mandarin Goby (Captive bred) who looks like he's eating quite well and happy!
I got 2 RBA's a few months back and one has done really well. The other shrank on me quite a bit and for a while (as of 3 weeks ago) I could not even locate it. I figured it had just wasted away and to be honest kinda forgot about it. The other day I was looking around the tank for the Mandarin, he likes to move around and he's tiny so easy to lose track of of course! Wouldn't you know it, I find the other RBA on a rock, facing the back of the quarium smaller than a dime in size!
It was flat and looked like it didn't even really have tentacles. I figured it was pretty much dead and removed it, but I wanted to test something so I out it in my mantis shrimp tank (been running it about 2 years now), just as a test.
So I put it on a rock the other night (early evening) later that night I see it on the substrate looking mostly lifeless.
Today, after the light came on I noticed it attached to the substrate and even looks like the tentacles may be coming out a bit! I mean, is there any possible chance this thing can make it back?
I've attached pics below! (As well as one of my goby who has yet to be named) would love any feedback and thoughts!!
