Lately I’ve been interested in the blastomussa and trying to collect some frags with different color, then I saw pictures of bouncing blastos and blastos with different color streaks on the inner disk. Haven’t found any information on the ones with color streaks, but I did find an article about the blastos bounce up as a defense mechanism: https://reefbuilders.com/2016/08/16/bounce-blastomussa/
This made me wanna do a little experiment on my blastos to see If I can get them to bounce. I will start by using a razor blade and make a cut on the polyps near the mouth and run out to the skirt. If this not work then I”ll try put the blastos with the galaxy as in the article. Have anyone actually try this before, I wanna hear from you guys.
