I noticed this guy on my Rasta frag today, not sure what it is. I thought it was just coralline at first, but it seems to have a definite pattern. Any ideas?

It could be the beginning of a nice chalice. I had a pastel watermlon that almost died off..but came back strong with three baby polyps. Yours look exactly like them. Congrats!

Looks like a chalice to me as well.

Is the bottom encrusted to the rock??? If not I have a strong hunch it's some form of Chalice or Fungia of sorts. I like the color ...

Enjoy.

Not sure about the ID on the frag but I do see some hydroids on the rock in the pic.You might want to get them before they take off.
