Came across this video of a guy catching a Crosshatch Xanthichthys Mento in Southern California. Since what we see in the hobby typically comes from warm tropical waters, I figured this was one that was released and surviving some how in cold water or made it to California as a hitch hiker. But a google search shows they have a pretty wide range and Mexico and Southern California is part of that.
Can locals confirm that they are indeed caught around Southern California waters?
