Welp, I just bought my first home, so that means my first, larger personal system!
I have a 150 gallon 60x24.5x25”

I have a large, acrylic sump that I got from a tank breakdown. I also got a Reef Octopus Regal 250 e skimmer, and Reef Octopus CR200 Calcium reactor that I’ll be using for this build.

I’m doing remote filtration in my basement, and likely adding on a frag tank I have as well. I’ll try and keep this updated as the build progresses, I’m planning on moving my 60 gallon in in about a month!

Long day of plumbing today, but got the bulk of it done, and tank is scaped and running! I’ll finish the rest of what I need to get done tomorrow. The rest (apex, live stock, etc.) will be moved over in a month or so.

Tank is to a point where it can sit and further cycle under light. I’ve had all this rock cycling in a brute trash can for about 2 months with some clowns. To the brute can I’ve added pods, some bio media from my sump, a cup of my tanks sand, and dumped my skimmer cup in twice.

In this set up, I have some more bio media that has been in my tanks several years now that has just been used to seed each set up. Will be fully moved into the house by end of April, so I plan on moving my 60 gallon in then.

Made big moves last yesterday! Got all my corals and fish over after letting the tank cycle a bit with a couple damsels and test frags. So far, everyone made the move pretty well!A quick iphone shot

Spent the morning doing cable management and getting the calcium reactor up and running. Everyone is settling in, my aquacultured Harlequin tusk, toothless, is loving all the space and brittle stars to eat. just added this powder blue tang as well, that I need to fatten up
