Hi All,

Looking to DIY a sump using an extra cube tank I have. It's 24x24. Just checking to see if anyone has a layout I can steal?

I'm throwing around the idea of running the sump without socks and using the first section as a refugium with chaeto to catch all the junk coming from the display. Bad idea? I don't want the skimmer to suck up all the pods and bugs so I was going to have 2 refugium sections. Refugium > skimmer, heater etc... > Refugium > return. Any thoughts? I'm a newbie to sumps so any help or direction would be much appreciated!

You may want to look at the Fiji Cube sump (with fuge) or the smallest Reef Octopus sump (with ATO chamber) for inspiration. Good luck!
