I am eradicating ich from my DT after getting tired of trying to “manage it.” I currently have
1 dolobella sea hare/slug
1 snail
And LOTS of coral

Am I safe keeping these 2 animals in there??

I am going to go fallow for 90 days to be safe. But I want some more CUC.

Is it safe to throw in some more cuc and start the timer right after I throw them in? And should I try to like rinse off the new snails really good? Or just throw my new things in and start the timer?

The longest fallow period described in the literature was 76 days in a laboratory, under cool temperatures. (0 days is much longer than you truly need, but it won't hurt as long as you are patient. We recommend at least 60 days.

Yes, any invertebrate is safe to house during the fallow period, just no fish.

Yes, any invertebrates that you add at the start of the period will be made safe during the fallow period, no need to rinse them or anything.

Here is an article I wrote on "biosecurity":
