I ordered a bunch of cuc online. 2 out of 3 pithos crabs are doa. 8/10 bumble bee snails no sign of movement. 6/6 trochus snails have not shown signs of life. At this point it’s been 6 hours.

Of course the .10 cent cerith snails are doing great.

My question is how long do you give these snails before you say doa?

The ones in the tank were moving before they went in. The two crabs would have to be zombie crabs to come back. The other snails are still isolated and being monitored for life. I am about to put them in nano tank that I can pull them out and not loose count.

I dont smell the milk before I drink it either.

*Amazing*

snail could take 2-3 days at most. Where did you order from? I use reefcleaners and they generally offer credit for DOA as long as you follow the addition instructions (i.e don't drip acclimate shipped creatures)

They did credit on doa. No complaints there. I just didn’t want to pull plug on them to early. Not much survived 1 pitho, 1 bumble bee. They spent the weekend in Indianapolis and just got to cold is my guess.
