Hi All
Long time lurker, first time poster.
I've been out of the hobby for a few years, but will be setting up a Red Sea Reefer 425XL in a year of so's time (after reno are done).
So, I'm in a position where I can cure my dry rock for long time.
I didn't bother curing with my previous tank and went straight into a 1 month cycle (in the tank) with nothing more than a muscle to start it.
I want to do things a bit more carefully and planned this time.
My question is: Is there any benefit to curing dry rock (natural unlit method in a big tub) for 6+ months or is it just redundant after the ammonia hits zero?
Cheers in advance.
