Current best HOB Skimmer?

I have an Aquamax HOB 1.5 that is broken. The part to fix it, is about 75% the cost the just replace the entire thing. So, if I have to go that far, is there an upgrade path from this skimmer that is also HOB?

I’ve got a Bubble Magus QQ3 on my temporary 75g and it cranks out the skimmate.

Honestly only thing comparable to the Aquamaxx 1.5 hob are the hob reef octopus. I’ve had both and in my opinion the aquamax was better. What broke exactly on yours?
