Have you ever had a request to make a top for a eurobraced 72" tank in 2 pieces?
My 72" x 30" x 25" tank currently has 2 different tops.
One made by someone else and one made by me.
Mine was the standard window screen frame with clear netting.
However I made mine in 2 pieces. Left side and right side.
I also used stainless corner brackets and stainless tee brackets to stiffen the frame.
I find I like my diy over the more expensive model.
I like being able to just lift one side and moving it if I need to get into the tank or add food.
However my diy frame tends to corrode, or build up salt creep.
My diy top is practical, but not the best looking.

Hi Cromag -

I was wondering if you can make a Nori Feeder that doesnt need a magnet.

Something like a drop down bar that I can put down in the tank and pull out once done.

like this

https://www.ebay.com/i/163395867445?chn=ps

but something that would work for a eurobrace. and a bit longer length wise.

any thoughts?

yes, i have tossed around that idea to be used with one of my all-acrylic clips. what i need to figure out, is how to attach it to the eurobrace itself. but i do have an idea. i was also going to make the height adjustable. not sure about price as of yet.

fair enough -

do i just keep an eye on your website for the next step to see when it pops there?
would you announce it here?
would you send a PM?

just wanting to know my next move. Because i would like to buy a couple if the price is right.

Also - instead of a clip - what that guy did - on the link i sent - is a great idea - makes it a grazer that is screwable and avoids waste. Something to think about.

Thanks.

Can you make me a 2 hole apex probe holder? I just need it for temp and pH. Dont want to get a bigger one because sump space is tight in my nano!

no, anything like that would stick up too high. what i currently do is also use mesh to cover the hole do pellets will drop through. this will keep fish from jumping out.
