The sump was used for 3 months. I decided I didn’t like the color. The return section has been modified by the manufacturer to accommodate various return pumps. So plumbing directly out of that section is possible without having to plumb directly through the bulkheads. These sumps are designed for the Vectra pumps configuration. No rock or any other biological filtration has been placed in the sump. I didn’t want any scratching of the acrylic and am OCD about things like that. The sump is literally like brand new. The only thing wrong with it is the handle on the lids return side. Cat knocked the lid off the shipping box and the original “handle” broke. To fix this I made another that was red. I had planned to make the other handle to match, but never got around to it. I really didn’t find a lid to be useful on the return side. The rest of the sump is open, so it’s not like it’s helping with evaporation. The sump is in the original box it came shipped in. I have no idea how much it would cost to shop something this size, but likely quite a bit. Here’s a link with its specifications.
