I am in a battle.. I have major cyano. I've tried to suck the cyano out but I guess the suction isn't powerful enough because I get no success. I've been changing my gfo every two months. I think I over fed one day. But the point is, I know what causes the cyano I'm well aware of how to prevent it, but I have it now so the question is how can I remove it. I tried cemiclean but it only killed maybe half of it. I really don't want to do another dose because it messes with my levels. So whats another alternative.

I've just done water changes and manual removal. I would just siphon into a filter sock that I placed in the sump to recycle the water. I've only had cyano due to a fish dying somewhere in the tank and it clears up once the excess nutrients are removed/used up.

7 tanks 5 times having cyano and it basically comes down feed less beefup flow go about ur routine water changes and youll be alrite
