I have a fairly new tank, that has cycled and was doing well....I have two clowns, a fire shrimp, a CUC, and two small zoas that are growing well. But now I'm struggling with Cyano. I've cut feeding to only what my clowns will eat in 1-2 minutes, and played around with flow, and tried vacuuming as much of it as I can out of my tank with my water changes, but nothing seems to help. I did another water change this morning and physically removed as much of it as I could, but this afternoon, its growing back. What else can I do to help this not get out of control, or because it is a fairly new tank (about two months), does it have to run its course.

You can try and raise your nutrients to help good algae out compete the Cyano. I had a bad case of Cyano and got tired of trying to deal with it, so I used Chemiclean and it worked perfectly. Even using Chemiclean, you still have to find out the cause to prevent it again. It is usually low N03 and P04, as Cyano does very good in low to no nutrient levels.
