Using shrimp can take 2 to 4 weeks for results and you need enough shrimp for your tank size. It’s been 4 days since I’ve started cycling the tank. Put a shrimp + phos start + nitribiotic. But 0 ammonia still. Is that normal?
That's what I did and most doBest to dose pure ammonia?
No fish cycling is painful and cruelOr should I just get a pair of clown?
Just get some liquid ammonia and dose to what equals your tank size then add nitrifying bacteria. Do this a couple times. When you see ammonia completely at 0 within 24 hours and sufficient nitrate numbers you are good to go. Finish with 50% water change. Can’t get any ammonia to dose here. Any idea how many shrimps I need for a 310 gallon?
ive used microbacter start xlm and tropic marin nitribioticTry to do the cycle by using some nitrifying bacteria starter product. After that , test your water for Ammonia , Nitrite , nitrate
