Hello,
I have a lot of questions , firstly I noticed on my tank this poo bits which are not getting raised up into the overflow for some reason?
I have a maxspect gyre at 40% because if i push more power the torches are being pushed to much.
Also the brown stage is relentless, 2 months and still going.
I have live and dry rock.
Filtration is a Thieling rollermat and SK400 skimmer, I also have an algae reactor, GFO and Carbon, UV steriliser.
Fish are happy and eating well. Corals seem happy, I also got gifted an acro which seems okay?
All advices and help are appreciated

didn't notice any questions about cycling.
Gyres create a direct, thin flow that moves a lot of water but they aren't great if you have corals in their path or as mentioned need to push it hard enough that it picks up the substrate.
Consider adding an inexpensive powerhead in the future and you'll still be able to run the gyre at a lower power and get that chaotic flow pattern

Only one gyre? 2 is way better IMO. I have 2 gyres in a 40 gallon at 50% each.

How old is the tank? What are the nitrate and phosphate levels? How many fish do you have and how much do you feed?

Yesterday, phos was 0.03 and nitrate was around 10, phos is Hanna tested and nitrates are Salifert.
I was thinking of buying a powerhead instead of a second gyre, maybe add some chaos?

The tank is 60 days old, I have a scopas (pretty big, was gifted to me) blue tang, tomini, 2 clowns and 2 chromis. I feed pellets in the morning and frozen brine in the evening. I also feed algae for my tangs.

Also, I was thinking about getting a powerhead like DWP 5, just don’t know where to place it, my gyre is on the left, overflow is in the middle.
