I plan to copy your AWC scheme when I get my tank up and running.; very cool.

I am getting close enough now that I need to start thinking about TBS rock. I started a 55g last year with TBS as an experiment (learning curve, before my "big" tank), and ordered the 55G package. I found it had too much rock and sand. I think Richard uses 2lbs rock + 1lb sand per gallon in his packages, when ordered by tank size. From your pictures, I am guessing that you didn't get a 120G package - can you share how many pounds of rock/sand you used in this build? It looks about right to me ...
This was a 90g package. I usually go around 20-25% less. The sand is JUST enough IMO.
With the rock, I try to order a little more than I think I'll need so I have a few pieces to pick and choose from.
The leftovers can go in the sump, sold to local reefers, break up into smaller pieces for mounting stuff to like the gorgonians or tall sponges, etc.

Very cool man! One day.....
haha, do it! ;Joyful

Dennis are you still running the Tropic Marin salt? I know that was recommend by Triton.
No I used that in the beginning to set it up, but then went back to using Salinity for my nano tank, since i wasn't really doing water changes with Triton.
And now that I'm doing water changes again and no Triton I'm using Salinity for this tank.

I would love to setup an AWC system but the location of my tank in the house makes it almost impossible. Anyway good to see the system back up!

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
