I was doing my weekly water change this morning and I lost control of my siphon. Long story short, I hit my hammer coral with the hose. It sucked up about 2 tentacles and damaged about 5 or so. Will it heal on its own or do I need to take action? I’ve read iodine dips help, but the frag plug it’s on is glued down to the rock :(

I've done that.. Mine healed on its own. After a couple days, it wasn't noticeable.. If it happens again though, it might not be so forgiving..

Don’t panic.
They can take some abuse. I had a small Acro frag fall into one of my hammers during the night and while there were a few hammer tips damaged I left it be and a couple days later completely healed. The Acro definitely lost that battle btw.
