Daughter needs to interview a "Shark Professional"

Hi, gang. My 10 year old daughter has a school research project focused around the
Independent Investigation Method with the goal promoting informational reading, thorough learning on a specific topic, giving the students the chance to teach others the way they've learned through their research, and to engage real-world professionals to gain knowledge and experience.

My daughter has chosen Sharks as her topic and she has to conduct an interview of a "knowledgable professional" over the phone, FaceTime/Skype, or in person. Since I don't know any shark professionals, I told her I would reach out to my friends on R2R to see if there are any marine biologists or other knowledgeable professionals in the field that would be willing to spare a few minutes of your time over a phone/FaceTime interview to help my daughter.

Either reply to this thread or send me a direct/personal message if you, or someone you know, would be willing to answer a few questions for her to supplement her research.

I live in Austin (home of the University of Texas), but the Marine Science branch is down in South Texas (Port Aransas). Thanks for the recommendations on UNF. I'll discuss with her when she gets home from school today.

My daugter had this professor for Biology. Let me know what she needs, when she needs it and Ill have my daughter talk to the professor, maybe he can help. She’s a shark fanatic. Anything shark related and my daughter knows about it and if she doesnt she will find out.
