Looking really good man! Love how you did the scape!

How do you like having the light hanging front to back rather than long ways?

Hey nova! It wasnt my first choice but the stand came with pre made holes in the back for a mounting bracket so it was super simple to bolt the light on. I can post pictures if you would like. Fortunately the AI Vega throws such a big spread that on an 18x18 tank there is no problem with coverage. I think the light will only max out at like 16% during the day lol.

Ill measure as soon as I get a chance but the light will peak at 16% on all levels during the day, then turn completely off by night. How about you?

Took some measurements today, the light is roughly 18" off the sand. So about 9" off the surface of the water. I set white at 13% and put everything else up to 17%.

Cool you are running some low percentages how long has it been running with those?

If it helps I checked par on mine with a meter a while back. At the water it was 130 at the waterline and 70 on the sand. This is at 20% w r and g and 35 % all blues.

No I just set this tank up on sunday. I am going to crank up the lights especially since I have all SPS. I was just going to take it slow since I didnt have an idea of how intense to run the lights.
