I recently purchased a AC JR without a DC or EB and I am looking a them now and wondering which is the best to get?

Also where is a good place to purchase one?

The only thing you will lose if you get a DC-8 is the ability to monitor amperage on those outlets and the use of "fallback mode" when programming outlets. Fallback is a good thing to have for stuff like heaters & chillers, but i wouldn't hesitate to hook up lighting or pumps on there. Also the cable is limited to 10 feet on the DC8 versus 200 on the EB8. As long as it's hooked up close to the display, I wouldn't be worried.

The EB8 will only work with the Apex controller.
The DC8 will work with the Apex and older style controllers like the Jr.
