Hi all,
Wondering if anyone can help. I’m having a nightmare week. Dead titanium heater last week and now my Nero 5 is “stuck”

So backstory.
Stopped working a few days ago. Striped it and gave it a proper clean.
The controller has the standard green light on it, but the pump doesn’t spin no matter what.

I have tried a soft and hard reset but no luck. The pump is up-to-date on the app removing it and re-adding makes no difference.
Controlling it manually on the controller also doesn’t work but it never gives me the red light to say it’s faulty.

Does anyone know what this means?
Contacted support but no reply so far. Considering the DMP40 if this is dead but no one in the UK is selling them.
Thank you.

i have never seen that, anytime mine gets stuck it flashes yellow. does the impeller spin freely if you spin it by hand? If you do get a resolution from AI would you post it? kind of curoius.

Maybe the impeller is stuck and the shaft is just spinning inside it?

Yeah the impeller spins just fine by hand. Even spun it with the cage off to see if I can get it going. Currently looking at it now, green in the controller and app giving a RPM readout but nothing.
Will for sure post if I get anything back

Start taking it apart and run it, is anything moving inside?

No nothing, looks ok to me. Swapped impellers the other pump and still nothing

I just had this happen to me. And it is for this reason, I'm not a big fan of the Nero product line. I hate taking them off line for fear that they won't restart again.

In the last instance, I pulled it apart and soaked it in white vinegar overnight. I reassembled it the next morning and it started right up.

I would suggest allowing it to soak in a solution of distilled vinegar for a few hours.

Thank you so much, can’t feel any binding but will sure give it a go. Will report back tomorrow

Did you try unplugging it reconnecting any connections? Do you have another controller, that you can plug the pump into?
