This morning I woke up and my torch had let go of all of its flesh. I’m really not sure what happened as my parameters have been solid and stable. The flow has been what seems to be a sweet spot and my other torch that was right by it is doing great.
What’s really unfortunate is that I had just received the torch a couple days ago from @WWC where I purchased it from their reef mania sale. There is/was no sign or disease or bjd. All that’s left is a clean white skeleton and remaining flesh bits scattered around the tank.
Anyone have this happen? I’m completely stumped and a bit devastated as I was so excited to have received this coral.

Here are my parameters
Alk 8.0
Nitrate 10
Phosphate .09
Calcium 400
Mag. 1398
Nitrite 0
Ammonia 0

I'm sorry to see this!

#reefsquad

I believe @Rocks reef is knowledgeable about torches.

Good luck here!

Using an 12” ai blade grow at 58%. Par reader reading 140 where the torches are.
Flow is the return along with two small wave makers at very low power. Nothing is blasting straight at them. Both torches had a gently rocking movement side to side.
