So my wrasse went into hiding after an addition of a new tang. I didnt see any aggression between the two.
The wrasse stayed hidden next to a rock for a week, not eating, and then disappeared - buried himself in the sand somewhere. I cant find him, its been pushing 1.5-2wks, so I assume he is dead. He is probably in the sand under some rockwork, but I'll need to take out the rock to get to him.
What if I leave him? will his carcass cause a massive ammonia spike? My other 4 fish are doing well, and my ammonia/nitrate levels are zero.
Just not sure I need disrupt my corralled rock work in my 50gal redsea cube to find the little guy
