I'm none of the above tbh. Just cover anything that isn't product placement/pushing and I'm good. What seems like advanced to one, like kalk to a newcomer, isn't that advanced at all to someone else. Covering everything can help pros just as much as the next guy or girl.

I agree with Redbeard - I always appreciate more captive breeding info. Personally, I'd like to learn more about the captive breeding of common but maybe under-appreciated species like blennies, gobies, CUC members, etc. - predators like lionfish and triggers too.

The general sustainability of the hobby.
Specifically, how the hobby impacts coral reefs, communities, and ultimately us. It’s kind of loaded but I think there are a wide variety of topics that could fall under this. Possible topics could include:
- Aquaculture vs mariculture vs wild collection - which do reefers prefer and why?
- How the hobby creates jobs, locally and internationally
- LFS spotlight - highlighting a different local aquarium store each week. What do each do differently?
- Climate change and it’s impact on the hobby
- Our hobby’s impact on coral reefs
- How can we preserve species through the hobby

I like to consider myself advanced hobbyist but have so much to learn.
id like to learn more on over filtration. Currently I run skimmer and refugium and algae scrubber because that I what I thought I needed to lower nutrients. But in the end am I stripping more then I should be as far as everything else then nitrates and phosphates.

Can we talk about Vibrant? No, just kidding.

Coral. I would like to discuss coral, coral decline and how to reverse its decline. I have lost several pieces that I wish I would of been able to save. Once they start to go it hard to turn them around. I have saved a few that were heading south but... I had a piece that did well for almost a year and then died in a few weeks. There is a lot of knowledge here. I like keeping corals and don't like losing them.

Specifically, what do long term successful reefers do to maintain their systems.
Equipment
Dosing regimens
Maintenance
Water parameters etc...

I would consider myself a beginner. A simple chemistry breakdown. I know that Alk and Calcium play off each other and Nitrates of Phosphates... but I don't fully understand it. I dose 2-part, I have a refugium, but I would still like to understand more.

Advanced.

Price gouging, overpricing, and profiteering off of novices. Prices are runaway, and I feel like a lot of 'hobbyists' are in it for the wrong reason and are doing nothing but perpetuating the ever-increasing price tag of this hobby. I'd like to see a max limit put on frags on this site too. No frag for more than $100, period. Want to try and make a profit? Open a storefront or go to ebay.

How about a spotlight on successful longterm reef tanks on a budget. Showing people that they can have success using quality low cost methods and equipment. This could even include low cost livestock. Not every acro needs to wreck homes.

Sean I like this a lot - perhaps showing/featuring tanks that break the "norm". Exploring alternative ways to reef keeping etc. I.E not every tank needs a skimmer to be successful etc. Lower tech items that are/can be successful or useful, items that are often pushed onto newer people that aren't necessary
