I have a red male. I never saw the purple one. Only on Live Aquaria.

4x a day via auto feeder. Frozen randomly when they beg especially well.

Mine was a dark purple when I got him but with no females in the tank for a while he faded out to a lavender color. Added a female and just started feeded chromaboost which they say brings the colors out, so we’ll see!

The white light picture is as he started to dull out. The one with the foxface is not the best but you can still tell his color was move vivid.
