Well, this poll is very unsatisfactory, imo. Should limit voting per person to 3 to improve clarity of results, imo.

Also, for dyslexic folks and for claification the number of each entry is located at the top left corner of the photo.

They have new contests regularly and start new threads for each one. I'm not sure how to follow either?

Many great photos, And I don't know how some qualify since the theme is RED. so I'm thinking #2.

Indeed a tough set to chose from, you can chose multiple pics to vote for but that leads to ties....
Few things to consider while voting as its a photography competition:
Focus: is the subject clearly in focus, even if photographer goes for a shallow depth of field shot he needs to have the focus point on the most important part of the subject.
Composition, licking in on ur subject and having him dead center isn't the best positioning ur subject of center in the picture is a good thing to allow space for movement.
Exposure to showcase subject more realistically.
How clean the background is as its a bit tricky with tanks to have less particles showing in the shot.
Moving.to the subject how much the subject fits the topic of the potm.
Choice of subject and what makes it special for the photographer.
Uncommonness and rarity of the subject...

Above won't make it easy to chose yet it'll be a bit more fair judgement for the finalists.
